Pale Leaf Yucca

 

OVERVIEW:

Yucca pallida, also known as the Pale Leaf Yucca, is a drought-tolerant, evergreen shrub is an endemic plant (native to only a particular area) that is native to North Central Texas growing in the rocky soil and outcrops of the Blackland Prairies and the Grand Prairie.  This bluish-green yucca is well suited for large low water use landscapes.  Like most yuccas, its flowers attract insects such as butterflies and moths.
