Caesalpinia mexicana is a heat-loving evergreen shrub or small tree known for its bright yellow flowers and fern-like foliage. Its open, architectural form provides a tropical appearance while remaining highly adapted to hot Southwestern conditions. It can be maintained as a shrub or trained into a small ornamental tree.
