OVERVIEW

Ruellia peninsularis, also known as Baja Ruellia, is an evergreen shrub used throughout the landscape in the Desert Southwest.  Originating in the Baja California region in Mexico, this drought-tolerant plant has light green leaves and showy, purple flowers that bloom Spring and Summer.
