BOUGAINVILLEA ‘ALEXANDRA’
ALEXANDRA BOUGAINVILLEA
OVERVIEW:
Bougainvillea ‘Alexandra’ is a vigorous, heat-loving evergreen vine that thrives in the arid landscapes of the American Southwest. Known for its vibrant magenta-purple bracts and dense, branching growth habit, this bougainvillea provides exceptional seasonal color while requiring relatively little water once established. Its naturally vigorous habit makes it an excellent selection for covering walls, fences, trellises and other structures, while regular pruning can be used to maintain a more compact form. Like other bougainvilleas, ‘Alexandra’ performs best in warm, sunny locations with well-draining soil.
