Agave ‘Blue Glow’

‘Blue Glow Agave’

OVERVIEW:

This agave is human designed, a hybrid cross between Agave ocohui X Agave attenuota. With its beautiful rounded rosettes, this specimen grows to be between 12 - 24in tall and 2-3ft across. The blue-green bayonet-shaped leaves are thickened spears, typically 12-18in across and 1-1.5in in width. The leaves display vibrant red margins and small, irregularly-shaped teeth. An excellent and popular specimen amongst homeowners and business landscapes, this popular agave prefers partial shade (although it is very much drought-tolerant).
