OVERVIEW:

The Bonita Ash, Fraxinus velutina ‘Bonita’, is another improved hybrid of the Arizona ash available at V&P Nurseries.  Its growth pattern like the Fan-Tex ash, achieving a height and spread of 30 x 25 feet.  The Bonita ash has dense green, foliage that is much more rounded than that of the Fan-Tex ash.  In the fall the leaves turn a color that is more orange than yellow.  Bonita ash are all male trees, so they will not produce any seed pods.  Additionally, they are strong and hardy trees that can withstand high winds temperatures as low as 0° F.
